Pragya Jaiswal, who had delivered a superb performance in Kanche, will play the female lead in the devotional film Om Namo Venkatesa that stars Nagarjuna. Veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao is directing the film which is based on the story of Hathiram Babaji. Shooting will start from June and pre-production work is going on currently.
Director KRR was impressed with Pragya’s performance in Kanche and decided to rope her in for this devotional film. M.M. Keeravani, who is providing the music, has already recorded two songs, informs a source. After Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shiridi Sai, this is the fourth devotional film that Nagarjuna and KRR are working on. Producer of Shiridi Sai, A. Mahesh Reddy, is producing this film too.
