'Paagal', Vishwak Sen’s new film directed by debutant director, Naresh Kuppili, was launched a few days ago.
A source tells us that the makers have finalised Krithi Shetty as the female lead. Incidentally, Krithi Shetty’s Telugu debut is opposite Vaishnav Tej in Uppena, a film that is yet to release.
“But the makers of Paagal decided to cast the actress after seeing a promotional videos of Uppena,” the source tells us.
Krithi had made her film debut with a Kannada film and then went on to act in a few Tamil films. Her Telugu debut, Uppena has a lot of expectations riding on it as it is directed by Buchibabu, one of the prodigies of Sukumar.
But no matter how that film pans out, it is great going for Krithi who got her second break in Telugu even before her first here released.
