Showbiz is mind over matter: Regina Cassandra
Regina Cassandra loves that as an actor she can smile in front of the camera even if she has had a bad day personally.
It’s been more than a decade since Regina Cassandra entered the showbiz world. Ask her what are her views on it, and she says, “Although it’s been a decade, I got really serious about making a career in films only after my first Telugu film SMS. Before I got into showbiz, I was passionate about doing three things — pursuing a career in psychology and human behaviour, theatre and dance. So I decided to continue acting until my graduation because I was getting a lot of offers back then (thanks to my short films too). I just made most of my opportunities.”
The actress reveals what she really likes about being an actress. “The best part is that even if I have had a bad or tough day, I still have the opportunity to become a different person when I am on set. I can put behind everything and behave as if nothing has happened. So putting behind all the trauma and still smiling in front of the camera is something that gives me a high. I don’t think this is possible in any other profession. So showbiz is all about mind over matter, and that’s why it’s a huge task,” Regina shares.
