Surprisingly, director Sekhar Kammula, who doesn’t usually praise any film, can’t stop expressing his admiration for Needi Naadi Okate Katha. After watching the film’s trailer, Sekhar called the film’s director, Venu, following which a special show was arranged for him.
Apparently, after the screening, Sekhar got quite emotional and couldn’t stop praising the team. “It’s every man’s story and hats off to the team which has come up with such a good subject. I’ve heard that this is the director’s first film, but he has narrated the story in a mature way,” said Sekhar.
The director also stated that in the present scenario, parents usually pressurise kids without letting them make their own decisions. “The father-son relationship in the film was very real and Sri Vishnu’s performance is first-class,” commented the director. Sekhar’s positive review is obviously a big boost for this small-budget film.
