Composer and singer R.P. Patnaik has composed a song for Rama Navami. The composition, titled An Invitation to Amapalli Seetha Rama Kalyanam, is his ode to the upcoming Hindu festival.
“I have decided to perform Sahasrarchana on Sri Rama Navami at Bhadrachalam, and I got the opportunity to compose music for a video after that. I believe the chance is godsent,” says Patanaik, adding, “I’ve learnt that there is a 100-year-old Ram mandir at Ammapalli Village near Shamshabad. Through this song, directed by Arjun Kondaveeti, I appeal to everyone to come and participate in the biggest event — Seetha Rama Kalyanam — at this heritage temple.”
