The shooting of legendary actress Savitri’s biopic, titled Mahanati, directed by Nag Ashwin, has reached its end. As per schedule, the filming was to be wrapped up earlier, but certain delays led to a few weeks’ extension.
Looking back, the journey has been a memorable one for the entire crew and cast, who worked tirelessly and bonded like family in the bargain. The film’s producer, Swapna Dutt, got emotional during the closing ceremony on Wednesday evening. She told her team that all should be proud to have created such a film, which will forever uphold the prowess of the legend that is Savitri.
Currently in its post-production phase, the film will be ready for the final phase in April and hit theatres on May 9. The entire is confident about their success.
