Kodi Ramakrishna’s daughters to start production house?
Kodi Ramakrishna is one of the few directors in Telugu cinema who have crossed the 100-film milestone as director. On the occasion of his first death anniversary on February 22, his family paid rich tributes to him.
According to a source close to the family, Ramakrishna’s two daughters are planning to enter the field of film production. “Like Raghavendra Rao and Dasari Narayana Rao, director Ramakrishna too created a mark in Telugu cinema. He directed a 100 films, which is a rare achievement. Most of his film are on social issues. Now, his daughters want to continue his legacy. They want to start their own production house,” says the source. “They have closely observed their father, so they know all about filmmaking, including the difficulties,” the source said, adding that the two women have approached a young actor and an official announcement is on the cards. It may be recalled that Pravallika, Ramakrishna’s younger daughter, recently married Chandru Mahesh.
