Nagarjuna turns nostalgic
A get-together was hosted by director Ram Gopal Varma, a few days ahead of his film, Vangaveeti’s release. The event that took place in the city on Tuesday, was also a tribute to RGV’s journey right from his first film Shiva to his latest Vangaveeti.
The event was filled with nostalgic moments as actor Nagarjuna shared his experience from the sets of Shiva. Nag recalled how RGV would suddenly become animated.
He laughed while saying, “I used to be a little nervous because RGV would hold a pen or pencil, and would act like it was a knife. It was scary because he’d suddenly become animated and come onto you and catch your collar. That’s why I used to sit on the opposite side of the table.” To which RGV added, “You are exaggerating!”
Nag also spoke about their bond, “Our ideas met and I enjoyed every minute of his company. He was one person who I connected with largely,” he said.
