Trisha Controversy: FIR Filed Against Actor Mansoor Ali Khan Over Rape Remarks

The Chennai police have registered an FIR against Tamil film actor Mansoor Ali Khan following a complaint by the National Women's Commission. He faces charges of sexual harassment and intent to outrage the modesty of a woman, particularly southern star Trisha. The controversy arose after Mansoor Ali Khan expressed disappointment over the absence of bedroom scenes in the blockbuster film "Leo," directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring Trisha.

In a viral media interaction, Mansoor Ali Khan's remarks drew criticism, leading to the filing of the FIR. Trisha, taking to X (formerly Twitter), condemned his comments as sexist and misogynistic, declaring, "I will never share screen space with Mansoor Ali Khan." Singer Chinmayi and actor Khushbu also joined in denouncing the actor.

The police officer handling the case stated, "We would first send him a notice." Mansoor Ali Khan's controversial comments, especially regarding the portrayal of villains, have sparked outrage within the industry and among fans. Trisha, in her tweet, emphasized that such mindsets have no place in the film industry.
