A Rs 8 crore village for Mahesh Babu!
The makers of Maharshi have erected a big village set for their next shooting schedule. The film stars Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde and is being directed by Paidipally Vamshi.
“They have to shoot many scenes in a village with Mahesh Babu, Naresh and others, so they have erected a big village set at RFC that costs nearly Rs 8 crores,” says a source from the unit. Initially, they wanted to go to a village and shoot the film there, but later realised that they wouldn’t be able to control the crowds and it may create problems while shooting. So, they decided to create a set.
“The village scenes are very important and they mostly feature Mahesh Babu and Naresh, as the story revolves around them,” adds the source. There are, however, a whole lot of actors who are playing different characters, including Rao Ramesh, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Brahmaji and Vennela Kishore.
