Though Aditi Rao Hydari was born and raised in Hyderabad, doing a Telugu film was a distant dream. Having finally made her Tollywood debut in Sammohanam, she’s ecstatic at its success.
“I was so excited to shoot in Hyderabad, and I‘m super thrilled that my first Telugu film has been a success. I don’t feel like my Telugu debut was delayed. I was just looking for the right opportunity. I feel my perseverance has paid off with director Indraganti’s script,” Aditi says.
The actress adds that the success of her film has made her more responsible. “There is no motivation greater than success; I shall now double my efforts. It means a lot to me because I am relatively new to the industry, and such successes keep me going. It’s only been in the last couple of years that I’ve figured out that I can actually make a career in this industry,” she says.
Aditi will soon be seen playing an astronaut in Sankalp Reddy’s yet-untitled space thriller. She has been paired opposite Varun Tej in the film.
“Varun and I had to undergo intensive anti-gravity training for a few weeks with a team of specialists from Bulgaria. That training helped me get into the skin of the character,” she shares.
