There have been many reports about the subject of Balakrishna’s next film; with many claiming that it has a political backdrop and is related to the present-day politics. Some others say that the role Jagapathi Babu plays has resemblance with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, but the producer C. Kalyan shushed all those rumours. “It’s a full-on commercial entertainer, and Balakrishna plays a cop in it; moreover, it’s not related to any person and does not have a political backdrop,” confirms Kalyan. According to sources, Balakrishna is playing two shades in the film; one is that of a cop and the other one, of a gangster. “The story is about how an honest and sincere cop turns around and becomes a gangster,” added the source.
