Top actress Rakul Preet Singh launched her own app on Tuesday. The actress says that she launched the application to connect directly with her fans. “When the software company approached me, it took me 10 months to decide whether I should do it,” shares Rakul, who currently has no Telugu films in the bag.
She further says, “When they explained the features of the application to me, I felt that it would be a great interactive platform.”
The 27-year-old also feels that this move will curb the misuse and creation of fake profiles. “Some people have been posting comments from fake profiles claiming to be me. So with this app, everyone can see my original Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts which will give people the right information,” she says.
Revealing that she can see all the comments posted on the app, Rakul adds that there will be several exciting contests for the users. “I am going to conduct a contest on the app and the winner will win a helicopter ride with me. There are many more contests like this,” she informs.
Rakul is also excited to post some of her videos in the coming days. “There are a few interesting behind-the-scenes videos and photos which I want to post on the app,” she mentions.
