Nara Rohit launched his new film Shabdham a few days back, but no announcement was made about the female lead. However, according to a source, the makers have decided to rope in Nivetha Thomas as the female protagonist.
“The actress will have an equally important role and the film demanded an actress who could perform. After seeing Nivetha’s performance in her recent movie, Ninnu Kori, the makers wanted to sign her for this film,” says the source.
Although Nivetha is quite in demand, she has not been signing each and every film coming her way. The actress is being choosy about her roles, taking into consideration each and every aspect of the scripts being offered to her.
This is one reason why she hasn’t signed any other film after the success of Jai Lava Kusa that released last year. The other reason is that she wants to concentrate on her education and complete her graduation before signing a new film.
Interestingly, Shabdam will see Nara Rohit playing a hearing-impaired person and the film will be directed by P.B. Manjunath.
