Chiranjeevi and Kortala Siva are looking for a replacement for Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan, who was to play an important role in the megastar’s next. Shooting for the film has already begun, but the director and top star are scouting around for an alternative to Ram Charan.
According to a source, “Initially, the Ram Charan starrer RRR directed by Rajamouli was supposed to be released this year; but the release has now been postponed to January next year. Ram Charan is busy shooting for that film and its not possible to do his father’s film too because he has to change his look and hairstyle for it.”
Director Rajamouli always maintains secrecy about his characters. So, Ram Charan cannot appear with the same look as RRR for his father’s film. “They are planning to release (the Chiranjeevi-starrer) around Dasara this year. They are looking for an alternate actor to complete the film in time,” added the source.
Allu Arjun is one of the names doing the rounds, but it is not yet known whether he has been approached.
