Pooja Hegde does not shy away from challenging roles. Be it playing a girl next door in Oka Laila Kosam or a glam diva in Duvvada Jagannadham, the actress can pull off any role with great elan.
The latest is that Pooja is all set to impress as a Brahmin girl in her forthcoming film Sakshyam. The film features the Mohenjo Daro star as a middle class Brahmin girl from a traditional and conservative family. It is a role that was tailor-made for Pooja and the makers are confident that she will do full justice to it.
Interestingly, Pooja’s costumes will be a mix of western and Indian. “Designer Neeta Lulla has come up with fabulous designs and Pooja’s costumes would be one of the things to talk about, post release,” says a source.
Meanwhile, the actress is going great guns in Tollywood. While she is fast wrapping up the filming of Sakshyam, directed by Sriwass, she will soon star opposite Mahesh Babu in director Vamsi Paidipally’s film and NTR’s next film under director Trivikram Srinivas. The action entertainer is produced by Abhishek Pictures.
