Venkatesh is shooting for the remake of Asuran near Ananthapur in Andhra Pradesh. The title and the look of Venkatesh from the film have now been released. The film is to be called Narappa and Venkatesh looks very impressive in it.
There were a few doubts about the remake project, particularly relating to how Venkatesh would pull off the role played by Dhanush in the Tamil version, but Venky looks intense and definitely matches to the original. “It is Venkatesh who has personally taken care of everything about the character, including — costumes and design,” says a source from the unit.
The film is being directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Venky’s brother Suresh Babu jointly with Kalaipuli Thanu.
