Fans won't accept if my son plays a loverboy: Balakrishna
Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna is all set to make his debut this year end and is doing his homework for it. Balakrishna is also giving suggestions to his son and planning his debut film. Though the director and the subject are not yet decided, Balakrishna wants to start his son off in a big manner. When asked whether he would act as a loverboy, Balakrishna reacts, “My fans won’t accept him as a loverboy. He is young and I have to see what kind of subject suits him.” The actor says that he didn’t see Aamir Khan’s Dangal but watched Salman Khan’s Sultan. On whether he could do the same kind of roles in Telugu, he says, “There are certain roles which only some people fit into. For example, I am not a romantic hero, likewise many actors have their restrictions.” He adds that he used to observe his father very closely. “Sometimes we were spellbound when we saw father up close, rendering some dialogues or playing a role. We learnt so much watching and observing him closely and my son did the same while watching me,” says the actor.
When asked to comment on actors who are trying to come up with a toned body, Balakrishna says, “The six-pack or eight-pack is not our nativity and suits only the north-actors,” adding that he never tried for a toned body in any film.
