Contrary to the rumours that popular actress Priyamani has signed a film opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in his upcoming film with director Bobby, a source rubbish these reports are baseless. “She hasn’t signed the film yet and in fact, we didn’t receive any call from makers regarding the same,” he says and adds, “Right now, she is in the US on a holiday and having a good time with her family,’ he adds.
She wanted to take a break for a long time but she got some time only now and she is enjoying it. “Priyamani was craving for this break as she had back to back shootings in Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu but finally she managed to take some time to chill out,” he adds.
Recently, Priyamani made waves in Bollywood with her role in ‘Jawan’ and she heaped praises on superstar Shah Rukh Khan for his jovial and friendly nature. She has also done a film with Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal in 'Neru.' “She also worked with Malayalam superstars like Mammootty (Pranchiyettan and the Saint), Prithiviraj (Thirakadha and Puthiyamugam) and female-centric film ‘Charulatha’ and returned to Malayalam after a gap,” he points out.
Meanwhile, she was also seen in the Telugu film ‘Bhamakalapam’ and enjoyed every bit of it as she played a housewife who becomes a witness to a murder. "Bhamakalapam is close to her heart," he concludes.
