Following the runaway success of the film RX 100, lead actor Karthikeya and director Ajay Bhupathi found themselves in demand. The actor has already signed a film titled Hippi and has now signed another film, this time with new director Arjun Jandhyala. He is making his debut as director with the film, which is set to be launched on December 27.
“The director has earlier worked with top director Boyapati Srinu and came up with a story that Karthikeya likes,” says a source. Like his guru Boyapati, Arjun Jandhyala too is showcasing Karthikeya in a full mass avatar, the source says, adding, “It’s an action entertainer with full commercial ingredients. It definitely helps Karthikeya reach the masses.”
The film is jointly produced by Anil Kumar and Tirumala Reddy and they want to start it in a big way. Karthikeya is currently shooting for Hippi in Chennai. Directed by T.N. Krishna, the film is a bi-lingual, and will release in Telugu and Tamil.
