Noted actress Shruti Haasan who is also a popular singer has no plans to wield the megaphone. “I have no such plans,” said the actress on being questioned whether she would also follow Rajnikanth’s daughter Aishwarya who directed her father in her upcoming film ‘Laal Salaam’. “They like directing films and so they are doing it. Oh my God I can’t even imagine directing my dad and actor Kamal Haasan,” said the actor in a video that has gone viral.
The multilingual actress was recently in the news due to an unfortunate incident at Mumbai airport. An unidentified individual persistently followed her, despite her attempts to keep her distance. Haasan can be seen in videos repeatedly asking the man who he is, and the situation turned worse as he continued to disturb her while she was getting into her car. Later, reacting to the incident, the actress, during an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram, opened up about a troubling encounter she had at Mumbai airport recently.
"So I was like, who is it? Like, obviously it was a friend of one of the photographers or whatever, but he was like super super close so I felt uncomfortable, and I didn’t know him and I thought maybe the photographer was asking him to come and tell me who it was, didn’t happen. Very close, very uncomfortable." she added.
On the work front, the actress has scored a hat trick of hits in Tollywood with “Krack’, ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ and ‘Waltair Veerayya’ to carve a niche for herself in the Telugu film industry. She could be soon signing on a dotted line for a big ticket Telugu movie, if industry sources are to be believed.
