Nani finds apology

The Telangana exhibitors association issued a statement, saying they apologise to Nani

On Saturday, the members of the Telangana Cinema Theaters Association apologised to Nani with regard to the remarks made by the members in a meeting that was held on Friday.

The association was miffed against Nani for apparently releasing his forthcoming film, Tuck Jagadish, on an OTT. For the past one month, the association has been requesting actors and producers to postpone their films and release only in theatres to protect the theatres.

However, when Nani went ahead with the OTT release for his film, stating that it was an unavoidable choice and producer’s call, the miffed members of the Telangana Cinema Theaters Association spoke harshly against Nani on Friday.

On Saturday, however, the association apologised to everyone who was hurt with their comments, stating that the comments were only [to cause] ‘anguish’, and not to hurt anyone’s sentiments. They further clarified that they always treated all the sectors of the film industry as ‘one family’.
