Director Puri Jagannadh went out of the way to lend support to Balakrishna and pushed away the criticism surrounding the actor’s infamous slapgate controversy. While the director was trolled bitterly by netizens for his words of support, yesteryear renowed actress has also hit out at him. Actress Kasturi, who was seen in several Telugu films in the ’90s, put up a post on her social media expressing disapproval of the director’s statements. ““#NandamuriBalakrishna’s fans love to be hit” - #PuriJagan says. uhhh...Maybe that drug charge wasn’t without basis after all. (sic),” she posted.
Ouch! That’s quite harsh! But we are sure it wouldn’t affect the showman, who’s got the knack of ignoring naysayers.
