N Shankar thanks KCR
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao granted a five-acre land to director N. Shankar for the purpose of building a film studio.
After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana State Government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao granted a five-acre land to director N. Shankar for the purpose of building a film studio.
On Thursday, the director met the Chief Minister to thank him for the land allotment. Incidentally, this is the first time that the Telangana government has allotted land to a film personality to develop a studio, and also the first time that a filmmaker belonging to Telangana has been given land for that purpose. All the previous studios such as Annapurna, Rama Naidu, Padmalaya and Sarathi were built many years ago, that too by people hailing from Andhra.
