Comedian-turned-actor Sunil seems to have gone back to doing regular comic roles. After Srinu Vaitla’s film, he has now signed Padi Padi Leche Panasu, which stars Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi in the lead.
He is said to be playing a key role in the film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. “The actor has started shooting for the film since Saturday,” says a source from the unit.
After unsuccessfully attempting to do lead roles, Sunil has returned to what he is best at — comedy. “It was the director’s decision to cast Sunil in this role,” a source says.
A majority of the film has already been shot in Kolkata, as the story has a Bengal backdrop. Portions of it are being shot in and around Hyderabad at the moment.
