After delivering continuous hits over the last three years, actor Nani has hit a rough patch. His latest release, Krishnarjuna Yudham, in which he has a double role, has flopped at the box-office.

After a series of flops, the 2015 film Yevade Subramanyam marked a turning point in the actor’s career, as all his subsequent films were hits or superhits. Sadly, Krishnarjuna Yudham, his first film for this year, has broken his successful run.

The film, which released last Friday, has not had very encouraging box-office collections. Top producer Dil Raju, who bought the Telugu distribution rights, may lose half of his money.

Interestingly, in the past, some of Nani’s films didn’t get critical appreciation, but did well at the box-office because of the timing of their release. However, this time around, it seems the actor could not salvage his film in spite of playing a double role in it.
