Actress Chitra Shukla has been having a great time signing films in Telugu and Tamil. The Rangula Ratnam, actress will be seen as a doctor in Thellavarithe Guruvaram, directed by Nagendra Pilla.
“I am paired opposite Sri Simha (Keeravani’s son) and it’s a breezy entertainer. In fact, in real life I wanted to become a doctor. Although I secured a college seat for dentistry, I did not take it up. But this film has given me the opportunity to be a doctor,” shares Chitra with a smile. In the romantic entertainer, Kadhal, Chitra plays another meaty role.
“The love story is set in 2004 and I go on a nostalgia ride,” says the actress, adding that she will also be seen in the powerful role of an IAS officer in the film, Uniki. “I am also debuting in Tamil with the film Na Na, in which I play a dancer. And in real life too I am learning Kathak and Bharatanatyam. These dance forms are helping me emote,” she signs off.
