Kshana Kshanam is a title that transports you to the 1991-crime–comedy directed by Ram Gopal Varma, which starred Venkatesh and Sridevi. But the Kshana Kshanam we speak of here is an upcoming thriller, which will have Jia Sharma’s Tollywood debut.
“The film is about a guy’s (played by Uday Shankar) middle-age crises about money, family and other societal issues,” explains the actress. talking about the February 26 release.
So why the thriller genre to debut in, we ask her. “Because of the realistic script,” she tells us. “When director Karthik Medikonda narrated the script, I could connect to the story quickly.” Jia, who was born in Kulu Manali and raised in Chandigarh, shares that she was always fascinated with films. “After my graduation, I moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in films. It was while auditioning for films that I landed in this Mannam Chandramouli’s production venture,” the actress recalls.
