Michael Madsen gets a whooping offer?
That Hollywood actor Michael Madsen is in talks for a bilingual (Telugu and Tamil) film, Silence, to make his debut on Indian screens is a known thing. The latest scoop we hear is that the Kill Bill star was apparently offered Rs 3 crore for his role in the Hemanth Madhukar directorial.
While the filmmakers earlier announced that a few big names from Hollywood would be part of the project, turns out they are in talks with Michael. Apparently, the filmmakers are not holding back from shelling moolah in getting the acclaimed actor to be a part of the film.
The talks which are currently under way are fruitful so far, but Michael is yet to sign in on the dotted lines. The filmmakers recently approached him and narrated the story, and he was pleased to come on board. However, a few modalities are being worked out, including the remuneration.
A source informs, “The film’s writer and presenter Kona Venkat is looking for an acclaimed actor so that he brings credibility to the role. Since the film will be majorly shot in the US, Venkat believes Hollywood actors will take the film to the next level.”
