Director Teja was gearing up to direct Venkatesh in an upcoming film. The film was officially launched as well. But according to a source, the film has been put off for later this year as the director has to concentrate on the biopic NTR that stars Balakrishna.
The source reveals that Venkatesh feels it is not nice to put the director under pressure and has asked him to finish the other film first. “In the meantime, Venky agreed to do a film with director Puri Jagannadh,” added the source.
In fact, Venky was supposed to work with Puri last year, but that didn’t happen.
“Once Puri completes his film Mehbooba, which features his son Aakash as the lead actor, he will focus on Venky’s project,” added the source.
