2.0 is a visual wonder
The Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 directed by Shankar is expected to be a visual and technical wonder. The film is made on a budget of Rs 600 crore by Lyca Productions, making it the most expensive film in India. On Sunday, the makers presented a song and a trailer to the media.
Made in the 3D format, director Shankar dedicated nearly three years to the making of this film, along with countless other technicians working on the VFX effects. The film will be releasing on November 29 in multiple languages. “There are many wonders in the film and it’s going to be thrilling for everyone, especially children,” says N.V. Prasad, who will be releasing the Telugu version through his NVR Cinema.
He adds that the film is the result of director Shankar’s hard work and will be the first Indian movie to be a complete 3D version. “This film is going to take Indian cinema to new heights and also present audiences with a new world through technology,” says NV Prasad. Akshay Kumar plays the villain in 2.0.
