Venkatesh’s forthcoming film, to be directed by Tharun Bhascker, has been in the news for its interesting plotline, with the backdrop of a horse race. While the director is working on fine-tuning the script, there is, we are told, an impactful role that needs a performer. And interestingly, the name of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has come up for discussion. In fact, the Roam Rome Mein star was a unanimous choice for the part because the filmmakers believe that someone like Nawazuddin can create a splash with his intense screen presence.
Things are still in the nascent stages, but efforts are on to cast the actor in the film. If all goes well, this would be Nawazuddin’s debut in the South. However, the film’s producer Suresh Babu states that nothing has been confirmed yet with regard to the Bollywood actor’s casting. “The script is still being worked on, and nothing has been finalised yet,” he shares.
