Actress Lavanya Tripathi has become controversy’s favourite child. Earlier, the actress exited two signed projects — one, a film with Vijay Deverakonda, and the other, the Tamil remake of 100% Love. And the latest is that the director of the latter film, Chandramouli, has lodged a complaint against the actress with the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, over her exit from the film.
Apparently, the director was miffed with her for walking out, which greatly inconvenienced the team. “The pre-production of the film was done and the film was to go on floors in September but with Lavanya making an exit, the team had to reschedule. Also, Chandramouli isn’t convinced by her reasons for quitting, and holds her responsible for the waste of time and money. Now the film will start in October and the director is distressed by the delay as he was keen on beginning sooner and finishing it on a pre-planned time,” shares a source in the know.
