Sai Dharam Tej’s next film, a love story, to be directed by Karunakaran is set to commence shooting soon. Apparently, the actor is set to follow in the footsteps of his uncle Pawan Kalyan for his role in the breezy entertainer. “Sai’s character will have several shades. He will be seen as a boy next door who is responsible and at the same time, the character will bring out the unseen side of him. Simply put, his role will be like Pawan Kalyan’s role in Tholi Prema,” explains Karunakaran.
The filmmaker is returning to wield the megaphone on film sets three years after his last film Chinnadana Nee Kosam in 2014. “I have been working on my script all the while and fortunately, my success and failure never determined my ability as a filmmaker. When I narrated the script to Sai, he felt that the story had the potential to be a box office winner and he agreed to come on board,” he further reveals.
