We had reported recently that there was some ambiguity in the release dates of the much-awaited, Prabhas-starrer Saaho. And lo and behold, the makers of the high budget film, which will release in different languages, have officially announced that the new release date is August 30. To be fair to the makers, though, the film was postponed from August 15 release because they didn’t want to compromise on quality. “We want to bring the best and a finesse to the action sequences and for that, we need some more time,” their statement said, adding that although they were shifting the date from the Independence Day, they want to keep the release to the Independence month.
“We are dedicated to bringing the biggest movie on the largest scale,” the statement went on. The film’s shoot started nearly two years back, with most of the shoot held in Dubai and in RFC. The makers also roped in some international technicians for this action thriller. Saaho, which is directed by Sujeeth, stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead and other Bollywood actors including Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
