A gripping thriller remade!
After Tamil film Ratsasan made the audience sit up and take notice, expectations are equally high from the Telugu remake Rakshasudu, featuring Bellamkonda Sreenivas. Talking about the remake, director Ramesh Varma admits that he did make minor changes to the original plotline. “More than the plot, what pushes the audience to the edge-of-the-seat is the tight screenplay,” reveals Ramesh Varma, adding, “The film is about a hunt to nab a psychopathic killer, and the suspense that surrounds the subject is worth watching.
The background score, as is evident in the trailer, is spine-chilling.” Bellamkonda Sreenivas will be seen in the role of a cop while Anupama Parameswaran plays the role of a teacher. “Writing is the key for an investigative thriller like Rakshasudu. So the focus was more on screenplay and background score,” states the director, who is confident that the audience will be entertained to the core.
