Malayalam film Puthiya Niyamam that stars Nayanthara and Mammootty in lead roles is set to release in Telugu as Vasuki. Directed by A.K. Sajan, the Telugu version has been produced by S.R. Mohan who wants to cash in on the latest issue the drug racket that has shocked Tollywood. The film is an action thriller and was critically acclaimed. The story is about a bunch of drug addicts raping a woman played by Nayanthara and her eventual quest for revenge. Mohan recently started promoting the film and says that the film’s backdrop of drugs and atrocities on women are the pressing problems of today.
