Suresh Babu has announced to take up a small-scale film Pelli Choopulu, directed by debutante Tharun Bhaskar. “I liked the film. It’s not about money, but about encouraging new talent,” says Suresh Babu.
The film, which is produced by Raj Kandukuri, has a cast and crew of newbies except the lead pair and Nandu. “The way they completed the film within a limited budget and the story-line caught my eye,” he adds.
Elaborating on the movie, he says, “Most of the locations were real ones and they didn’t opt for any sets. They went with a bound script and had a clear idea about what they were doing. It was an excellent team work.”
He is sure that every character will remain in the heart of the viewers after they watch the movie. “The team is very young. I am planning to produce another film with the same team after Pelli Choopulu is released,” he said. The film will hit the screens on July 29.
