On Saturday, Ram Charan, who is shooting for Rangasthalam in Rajahmundry, had a surprise guest on his film’s set, a three-year-old kid, Dhanush, who was suffering from a kidney-related ailment. The boy came to the location along with his parents and gave Ram Charan a kiss to show his gratitude.

Apparently, the family first met Charan when he was shooting in Rajahmundry in April. “Being his fans, the kid’s family went to meet him. That’s when the mother told the actor about her son’s problem. He responded immediately and asked his team to make arrangements to provide medical aid to the kid,” says a source.

The boy then came to Hyderabad and got treatment from a private hospital. “Charan bore all the expenses for the boy’s treatment and the kid is now doing fine,” adds the source.

With Charan shooting in Rajahmundry again, the kid and his family went to meet the actor again and thanked him for his gesture. “Charan also wished the kid with good health,” adds the source. Dhanush apparently surprised Charan and rendered dialogues from his film Magadheera. The actor is said to have been very happy to see the child in good health.

Meanwhile, the actor had an injury while shooting in Rajahmundry. The news came to light only later as he continued shooting despite it. “He got bruised while shooting a key scene near some bushes. A tree branch hit his hand and neck, but he continued filming,” says a source from the unit, adding that he didn’t complain.
