Sankalp Reddy, whose film Ghazi recently won the National Award, is directing his latest movie, in which Varun Tej is playing an astronaut. The film was officially launched on Thursday morning in a private studio without any buzz and no media presence either.
Popular director Krish, who is co-producing this film, attended the event while Sankalp Reddy’s father, Sahadev Veer Reddy and Varun Tej’s father, Naga Babu did the honours at the muhurat. Female leads Lavanya Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari were also in attendance.
Interestingly, this is the first time a Telugu actor will be seen in an astronaut’s role. The scifi thriller promises to have some key VFX, and the makers have already declared that they are erecting huge sets for the film.
