Telugu actors and filmmakers have been choosing locations in neighbouring states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala whenever a rural milieu is needed for their film’s shoot, mostly because shooting in the Telugu states would make it difficult to handle crowds. However, for his next film with Ram Charan, director Sukumar was particular about authentic locales near the Godavari belt, where the team has been shooting for a long time now, as part of a 30-day schedule. On Tuesday, however, as Ram Charan reached Kolleru to shoot, huge crowds gathered, stalling the shoot for an entire day.
“The team had to beef up security on Wednesday so that the shoot could progress without hindrance as the makers want to get the film ready for a Dasara release,” shares a source, adding that Ram Charan became really emotional looking at the number of people thronging the venue. Apparently, it is after a very long time that a star is shooting in these locales, and that’s another reason for the people’s excitement.
Meanwhile, the makers have already completed canning some important parts of the film, including a song starring Samantha and Ram Charan.
