Pragya Jaiswal to play a cop
Actress Pragya Jaiswal has delivered some impressive performances that have struck a chord with the audience, including the role of an IPS officer in one of her earlier outings, the 2017-film Nakshatram.
We have now learnt from reliable sources that the Kanche actress will be seen in a crucial role in Mohan Babu-starrer Son of India. Our sources tells us that the film’s director Ratnababu chose Pragya for the role as it was something she’s never tried earlier.
“Pragya is a complete package. Apart from having great appeal, she is a performer and natural talent. Also, as the audiences have never seen her in a true cop role, the director felt that casting her would bring a fresh appeal to the role,” informs the source, adding that she has even shot for her part.
Meanwhile, Pragya Jaiswal has been balancing work between the South-Indian and Hindi film industries. The actress who’s starring in Balakrishna’s yet-to-be-titled film directed by Boyapati Sreenu is also part of the Salman Khan-starrer, Antim: The Final Truth, which is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
