I am a big fan of my father: Mahesh Babu
Mahesh Babu who was the chief guest at his father Krishna’s film Sri Sri’s audio function recently, said, “My father usually comes to my film’s functions but for the first time I am attending a function for his film. When I saw my father’s look four months ago, I got excited and recalled my childhood days. I’m a big fan of my father.”
It was almost like a family function with Mahesh Babu attending the event with his son Gautham and Krishna’s son-in-law Sudheer Babu attending with his two kids.
On the occasion, the makers also felicitated Krishna for completing 50 years as an actor. “I should thank two people in my life. One is Adurthi Subba Rao Garu who introduced me to the industry with his film Tene Manasulu, and Doondee for projecting me as a mass actor with the film Gudachari 116,” said Krishna, adding that he would never forget these two films.
“It’s been a long time that I had acted in a good film, and my role in this film is going to be a good one,” he said.
Veteran actor Krishnam Raju also attended as a special guest. He sai,. “Krishna is a very humble person who gave several first’s to the industry. At this age he is so energetic. I hope he act’s in more films.”
Several Tollywood celebrities including Vijaya Nirmala, Naresh, and Rajendra Prasad graced the event. Muppalaneni Siva is the director of the film, which is an adaptation of a Marathi film.
