Why Allu Arjun admires Sharwanand

Allu Arjun says Sharwanand is a self-made hero with no backing from anyone in the industry.

Actor Allu Arjun (a.k.a. Bunny) has high respect for Sharwanand who he feels has attained his position in the industry with sheer hard work. He was speaking at Monday evening’s pre-release function of Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi-starrer Padi Padi Leche Manasu where he was the chief guest. Praising Sharwa for his journey to the top, Allu Arjun said, “He is a self made hero and I feel that I am lucky to stand beside him. Sharwa has no backing from the industry and he has reached this position with his hard work. He gets bigger with each film and I admire him a lot. All of us come from a filmy background and have had support from the very beginning. We are technically the ambassadors of nepotism in the industry.”

Revealing that Sai Pallavi was one of his favourite actresses, Allu Arjun said, “I saw the Malayalam movie Premam and other Telugu films.”

The actor also spoke on respecting elders. “Recently when I was watching television I got angry when a person called Chiranjeevi by his name. Why couldn’t he add garu to Chiranjeevi? How can he call an elderly person by his name?” asked Allu Arjun.

He cites this as the reason he addressed Sharwa as garu at this function. “We should respect elders whether its actors or politicians and we must add garu, at least in public functions.
