Even while Akhil Akkineni is shooting for director Bommarillu Bhaskar’s current film, the actor seems to be taking rapid strides in terms of his next project.
The Hello star has finalised his next film — a breezy entertainer with Tamil filmmaker Mithran, which would go on the floors in the summer of 2020.
Apparently, Akhil wanted to a do a completely out-of-the-box plot, and believes that Mithran’s idea has the potential to be a box-office winner.
“Both the actor and director met several times over the last few months. They were keen to collaborate on an interesting project, and things eventually materialised,” informs a source, revealing that Akhil hosted a dinner for Mithran last month when the director was shooting in Hyderabad for a Tamil film.
