Playback singers Sunitha and Geetha Madhuri are both popular on social media and have been approached for many film roles. Interestingly, while both of them have previously acted in short films, they never acted in feature films. Now, it appears that Geetha is all set to make her debut on the big screen. According to a source, the singer is going to appear in a cameo in an upcoming film by a Tamil director.
“They recently completed shooting her part near Gandipet,” says the source. The producer has roped her in, keeping in mind her popularity on social media and also among the audience. Geetha never showed interest in film roles in the past, but she wants to try her luck with this cameo. “This is just a trial and if this clicks well, she now wants to continue as an actress in a few films,” adds the source. Geetha Madhuri married actor Nandu a few years ago.
