Those wondering how it will be for actor Brahmanandam to narrate a film, can catch the forthcoming Telugu film, Panchathantram, to know more. Directed by Harsha Pulipaka, the film is an anthology series that features multiple stories. And Brahmanandam, apart from acting in one of the stories, will play the role of the narrator of the stories.
“He takes on the role of narrator Veda Vyas, taking the audience through all the stories. I think this is the first time Brahmanandam garu is narrating a story, and it’s a privilege to us,” explains Harsha, adding that his role will provide a fresh take for the audience. Brahmanandam’s role in the film is a serious one, unlike the conventional slapstick comedy he usually partakes in.
“I also had the idea of wanting him to narrate all the stories, so I first discussed it with my producers, Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu, after which, all of us pitched the idea to Brahmanandam garu, and he obliged,” Harsha adds.
