Actress Pragya Jaiswal may be very active on Instagram social media, with her 1.2 million followers. But when it comes to her career in films, it looks like it’s almost end of the road for her. At least in Telugu. No one seems to be considering or approaching her for any Telugu cinema.
In fact, her claim to fame still remains the 2015-period drama Kanche, which was directed by Krish. Appreciated for her performance in that film, she did receive some projects in the four years since, but all of those turned dud. Her last film was Achari America Yatra, which released last year. She had played the female lead in it.
However, the film was taken out from the theatres after the morning show. We hear that she is now waiting to sign only good projects and opposite prominent stars, but unfortunately for her, we know that the industry sees just too many new faces regularly.
“There is a lot of competition now, with many Kannada and Malayalam actresses entering Tollywood, so it’s tough for actresses like Pragya Jaiswal,” says a source.
