Sai Dharam Tej’s film Jawaan was launched in January and the actor has been busy shooting for the film ever since. Starring Mehreen Kaur Pirzada as the female lead, it is a family drama where a son steps up to protect his family at a very important juncture.
And the latest from the sets of the film is that they have been shooting at Char-minar in the early hours of the morning in a bid to beat the heat. “A sequence in a song required the backdrop of the iconic monument of Hyderabad and with the aim to keep away crowds as well as the heat, the team shot at the location in the early hours of the day,” reveals a source in the know.
The film is a joint production venture between Krishna, NTR’s former manager and director Harish Shankar. It is being helmed by writer turned director B.V.S. Ravi.
