Sharwanand’s tryst with scuba diving
Actor Sharwanand recently landed an opportunity to experience scuba diving in Mauritius for a scene from his upcoming movie. And although he is fairly new to the sport, the actor pulled it off quite impressively. Many are aware of Sharwanand’s portrayal as a wildlife photographer in his forthcoming film, which is a remake of the Tamil film, 96. We have now learnt that in the process of the film’s shoot, the Mahanubhavudu star landed an opportunity to experience scuba diving for the first time. The film’s unit recently travelled to Mauritius to shoot a few scuba diving scene with Sharwanand. Since the actor was relatively new to this underwater sport, he had one day to learn the sport and then rehearse his scene after which, they went on to shoot the scenes live.
“Sharwanand took a quick look at the basics of scuba diving and picked it up almost instantly. The entire unit was impressed by his objective approach as an actor towards the larger interest of the film,” informed a source in the know.
The film’s team is currently shooting a music number in Mauritius after which, director C. Prem Kumar shall move on to the movie’s Kenya schedule.
